At La Madia, two pleasures - great food and distinctive, delicious wines - come together. La Madia is an urban restaurant that upholds Italian tradition. Every day, our chefs make our pizza dough and fresh pasta from scratch from little more than flour, water, and salt. The menu is designed for sharing, with flavor-packed, wood-fired pizzas that change seasonally, inventive salads, and savory pasta dishes. Desserts are all made on the premises, in keeping with what's available in the market.The wine list is a wine lover's dream, with more than 75 wines by the glass and hundreds of bottles. And every week, we feature two of our favorite wines for just $5 per glass. In addition to wine and more than 25 beers, La Madia offers innovative cocktails, many of which are made from spirits infused in-house.

The pizza and wine is excellent. I had a great bottle of merlot recommended by the waiter. The atmosphere was great also.

Great brick oven pizza with red and white pizzas and a little known secret: they have a late night menu Sunday - Thursday 9 pm - Close! You get 1 Salad, 1 Pizza for $20. I also like La Madia for lunch because everyone likes salad, pizza and $5 wine! Great spot on a week day or night! Love the Honey Crisp Apple bruscetta and Pizza Fondue starter! Awesome patio/side walk seating in the summer.

Nice spot in the loop for quality thin crust pizza. Pizza is good but not great, the dough was lacking any flavor. Atmosphere and service are great. I like that they offer wine pairings for everything on the menu and the server is more then happy to explain why. I wish they had a few more vegetarian options.
